Cookie notice

FillPDFfromCSV uses a small number of cookies and browser storage items. Here's exactly what, and why.

Last updated July 2026.

What the tool itself stores: one item, in localStorage

The tool stores your consent choice (accept or decline analytics and ad cookies) in your browser's localStorage. This is a plain text entry, not a tracking cookie. It contains no personal data and never leaves your browser. Its only purpose is to remember your preference so we don't show you the consent banner on every page load.

Analytics cookies (after consent only)

If you accept cookies, Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga, _gid, and related) in your browser. These track page views, session duration, and approximate location (country level). In the EEA and UK, these cookies are only set after you click Accept on the consent banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your cookies and declining the banner next time it appears.

Ad cookies (after consent only)

If ads are shown and you've consented, ad providers may set their own cookies for ad delivery and frequency capping. In the EEA and UK, this only happens after consent. You can opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com. Using a browser extension like uBlock Origin blocks ad cookies regardless of consent status.

No tracking of your files or form data

The PDF processing runs in your browser and sets no cookies of any kind. Nothing about your PDF content, your spreadsheet data, or your generated output is stored in a cookie, sent to our servers, or shared with any third party.

How to opt out or clear cookies

Clear all cookies in your browser settings to remove any analytics or ad cookies. To remove the localStorage consent entry specifically, open your browser's developer tools (F12), go to Application, Local Storage, find the fillpdffromcsv.com entry, and delete it. After clearing, the consent banner will reappear on your next visit.
